Hey hey hey!
I’m Ashley Andrews but my friends & clients call me Ashley Relates. And yes, I really have a Master’s in Social Media.
Born to ambitious Trinidadian parents, I am a social media and branding specialist by day and Soca junkie by night. Receiving my Bachelor’s in Journalism with a minor in Social Media & E-Marketing Analytics back in 2015, fueled my entrepreneurship journey. During my last semester of undergrad, I founded The Urban Play, an urban digital media platform geared toward millennials of color like myself.
Since then, I’ve worked with notable minority-focused brands like Miami Broward Carnival and American Black Film Festival helping them create relevant and relatable content that resonates with their audience. With over 5 years experience in social media, PR and branding, I’ve really become a jill of all trades when it comes to marketing communications.
When I’m not creating compelling content or brand strategy for my clients, you can catch me playing mas at the next Carnival or binge-watching Netflix at home. (There’s really no in-between)
